今天我正用小孩儿的有点儿简单的书练习阅读，我很开心。能一直看书的时候我很高兴。几个月以前我从没想过我会容易地读。简言之，这本书正合我意。
我现在相信看简单的书是非常好的提高词汇水平的方法。 我给你们其他的我刚才学好的生词：

无法 = unable / incapable. 比如：《我简直无法相信他在说什么。》 - “i simply couldn’t believe what he was saying.”
简直 = simply, at all, virtually
开心 = delighted
拒绝 = reject, refuse
《我何尝不想去，只是没有时间罢了。》 = “it’s not that i don’t want to go, i just don’t have the time.”
简言之 = “in a word…” or “to make a long story short…”

我们的学期完了差不多。 下星期是最后个星期， 然后我们考试。 虽然我们快要有期考但是我不担心， 因为我近来努力学习所以觉得会考得很容易。 几个星期以前我学习很少， 所以我该复习那时候的课了。 除了那些课以外， 我确信能够成功。
考试以后我们可以休息一会儿。 在暑假的时候我们有另外的课， 所以有特短的假。 我比较喜欢这个情况因为我现在对汉语集中精力所以最好继续。 我十二月希望达到HSK6， 现在有大概HSK4， 所以会要有困难。
对了，今天的天气很有意思。 近来较热， 昨天下大雨， 闪电很多。 那时候我的朋友们在市区逛商店， 他们听见雷声忽然下大雨， 他们浑身湿得像只落汤鸡。 邱甲伟的护照仍然湿。 从温哥华来的人不习惯这种天气。
我刚才觉醒现在十点半， 我应该睡觉， 明天有很早的课。
