Anarchocyclist

i’ve been pondering tattoo ideas lately. originally i was just gonna get a little red-and-black star, probably with some japanese characters for “anarchist” or “empathy” overlaid…but i’m unsure of the quality and translation. i’m pretty sure i’ve got the right translation for anarchist, because it’s a historical term i’ve read about. but i’m not at all sure about my translation of “empathy”.

so i did a little surfing, and found the site of a calligraphy master who does custom tattoo design and other art work. with some emailing back and forth, i’ll be able to get a proper translation and some custom calligraphy. looking at the art on the site, i might work on something more elaborate involving a couple of ideas.

then i guess i just have to find a local tattoo artist…i’ve got two in mind that i’ll probably talk to soon (one is a friend of a friend, the other an acquaintance that i met through cycling). ok, i’m off to brainstorm some more.
